For The Kids
Brooklyn Cyclones
We hosted 70+ kids and chaperones brought by David Davis and his Davis Athletics Development Sports & Community Foundation at the Brooklyn Cyclones game. Virtually none of them had been to a game at this magnificent ballpark, set up against the Atlantic Ocean and Coney Island Park. It started with pizza just outside the stadium, great seats near third base, soft ice cream, a few foul balls, tons of laughs, and lastly, we had the chance to run the bases postgame and take a quick group picture as the rain started falling! This is the tip of the iceberg of what we're doing with Tomorrow's Champions, teaching kids how getting into sports will elevate their life trajectory, learning the benefits of tenacity, grit, teamwork, the adrenaline rush of competition, and so much more!
Ice Hockey In Harlem Summer Camp
Tomorrow’s Champions was proud to join Malik Garvin and his incredible team at Ice Hockey in Harlem during their summer hockey camp this week at The Harvey School in Katonah, NY. Nearly 50 young athletes, ages 5 to 17, hit the ice with energy and excitement, many experiencing the sport in a way they never imagined possible. For over 30 years, Ice Hockey in Harlem has been breaking barriers by providing access to equipment, coaching, and mentorship to thousands of kids in the community. Our board and senior committee members were honored to spend time with the campers, sharing lessons on sportsmanship, teamwork, and the lifelong value of staying active. We are grateful to Malik and his team for their incredible impact and look forward to continuing our shared mission of creating opportunities, fostering confidence, and helping kids build a brighter future through sports.
